Your floors will be easier to clean and maintain, brighter, more reflective, and actually stronger.  Our optional Luminize etching and dying processes will even give you a floor that looks like granite or marble.

FLOORGEN's Luminize Process: Our patented process gives you a floor of unparalleled quality.

FLOORGEN's Luminize Process uses a patented floating 9-head refinishing machine to apply hundreds of pounds of balanced pressures as our exclusive diamond-abrasive heads remove years of filth and previous floor finish from your existing concrete floor, revealing an even, clean floor, perhaps for the first time in decades.

Concrete floors refinished by other methods are subjected to uneven pressure exerted by the abrasive heads of other refinishing machines, which can gouge and score your floor, revealing the less attractive aggregate materials (the larger pieces of stone that sinks to the bottom of a poured concrete floor).  This process degrades the structural integrity of the concrete.

After the first steps of the Luminizing Process, the newly-cleaned floor is just the canvas on which we work.  At this point, we’ve removed the thin, soft, milky top layer of your floor, exposing the harder small-aggregate level.   By using increasingly finer finishing abrasives, our technicians bring out a level and uniformity of shine seldom associated with concrete.

By the time we've finished applying densifiers and executing the final buffing processes, your floor will shine like never before, be impervious to most spills and almost dust-free.
Although your floor's surface will be much harder after it has been Luminized, it continuously hardens over the following months, actually wearing better as time passes.
